Flower T-Shirt by Typotheque (Limited Ed.)

March 19, 2006

You’ve probably noticed that I rarely (almost never) feature tees with just text designs on them (unless they’re hand drawn).

This Typotheque tee is a great example of how you can draw and create art by using fonts. Instead of just typing stuff with a generic font and adding 3D effects shadows and glows more people should start “drawing with fonts”
This t-shirt presents a collection of 48 herbs from the author’s herb collection. Each herb’s name is spelled out, and repeated in the circle to form the flower. The result is an incredible layout of mandala-like shapes made out of letters.

Printed on the full surface of the t-shirt (over the seam). T-shirt are hand-printed, so each one is unique piece of art.

Flower shirt designed by Johanna Balušíková using Jigsaw Solid Light limited edition
available in black t-shirt, one colour printing DeLuxe fitted European cut, 100% combed cotton 35.00 Euro
